۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
