Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
