And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
