Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
