▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
