[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 on the contrary, he gave the lie to the Truth and turned his back upon it, 32 then he went back to his kinsfolk, elated with pride. 33 Nearer to you (is destruction) and nearer, 34 Again your ruin has come close, still closer. 35 Does man assume that he will be let loose? 36 Was he not a small seed in the seminal elements, 37 Was he not turned into a clot of blood? God then formed him and gave him proper shape. 38 And of him He made two sexes, male and female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
