And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
