The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 on raised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
