The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
