And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
