Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
