1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
The unbelieving assembly of his nation, who belied the encounter of the Everlasting Life, and on whom We had bestowed ease in this life, said: 'This is but a human like yourselves; he eats of what you eat and drinks of what you drink. 33 If you obey a mortal like yourselves, you shall be lost. 34 Does he promise you that, after you have died and become [mere] dust and bones, you shall be brought forth [to a new life]? 35 ۞ Far, far is that which you are threatened with. 36 There is no life beyond our life in this world: we die and we live [but once,] and we shall never be raised from the dead! 37 He is only a man who hath invented a lie about Allah. We are not going to put faith in him. 38 He said: O my Lord! help me against their calling me a liar. 39 He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant. 40 The blast justly struck them and We reduced them to rubble. Away with such wicked people! 41 After them We brought another generation into existence. 42 No nation can go before its term ends nor stay back. 43 We then sent our Noble Messengers, one after another; whenever a nation’s Noble Messenger came to it they denied him, We therefore united the succeeding with the old, and made them history; so far removed be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority 45 unto Pharaoh and his great ones; but these behaved with arrogance, for they were people wont to glorify [only] themselves. 46 They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?" 47 So they accused them of falsehood, and they became of those who were destroyed. 48 And certainly We gave Musa the Book that they may follow a right direction. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a Sign: We gave them both shelter on high ground, affording rest and security and furnished with springs. 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
