۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
