This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, – 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
