We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
