The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
