The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
