The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
