Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
