And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
