▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
