In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the entire universe. 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 The path of those whom You have favoured – Not the path of those who earned Your anger – nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
