The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
