Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He abandoned his people 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
