Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And exalted your fame? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
