Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
