We gave the Book to Moses - do not have any doubt about the Day of Judgment - and made it a guide for the children of Israel. 23 and when they remained steadfast and firmly believed in Our Signs, We created among them leaders who guided people by Our command. 24 Surely your Lord will judge among them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters about which the Children of Israel used to differ. 25 Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see? 27 And they say, "When will this judgement come, if you are telling the truth?" 28 Say, "On the Day of Judgement it will be of no benefit to those who were bent on denying the truth, if they [then] believe! They will be granted no respite." 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
