Hizb 46

Verily Jonah is one of the apostles. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 We glorify God." 166 They used to say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
