The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 And you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening; 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
