۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
