The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
