And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah, then (both of you) cast him in the severe torment." 26 ۞ His comrade saith: Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he was (himself) far gone in error. 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
