The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The All-merciful 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 He created the human being 3 and He taught him speech. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 Always measure with justice and do not give short measure. 9 And earth -- He set it down for all beings, 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Which of the bounties of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 18 He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: 19 There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
