Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
