Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 watching over you 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
