The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
