(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and remember You much: 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
