With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
