Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
