Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
