The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
