The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In outstretched columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
