Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
