The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Compassionate. 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created man, 3 and He taught him speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 and grain growing tall on its stalks, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which favors of your Lord will you both (humans and jinn) belie? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 [He is] the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunrise, and the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunset. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
