The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 and float [through space] with floating serene, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 And the second followeth it, 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 to bring them out of their graves and back to life on the earth's surface. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned away in a hurry, 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 you pay attention 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26
