And the day when We will raise up a witness from every nation – then there will be no leave for the disbelievers, nor will they be appeased. 84 And when they who were bent on evildoing behold the suffering [that awaits them, they will realize that] it will not be lightened for them [by virtue of their pleading]; and neither will they be granted respite. 85 And when those who have associated will behold their associate-gods, they will say: our Lord! yonder are our associate-gods upon whom we have been calling beside Thee, they will proffer them the saying: verily ye are liars. 86 And on that day they will fall humbly before Allah, and they will lose all that they used to fabricate. 87 Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah - for them will We add Penalty to Penalty; for that they used to spread mischief. 88 And beware a Day whereon We shall raise up in every community a witness regarding them from amongst themselves, and We shall bring thee as a witness regarding these. And We have revealed unto thee the Book as an exposition of everything and as a guidance and mercy and glad tidings to the Muslims. 89
