Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 and my tongue fluent 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 to support me. 31 And share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and may remember You much. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
