Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
