So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
