This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 It behoveth them not, nor they can. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 Who listens to you (for spreading rumours); but most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
